“After a long trek, we finally climbed the final peak to a peaceful lake with tall ginkgo trees reflected in the calm water. The place reminded me of my grandparents’ village, beautifully landscaped and relaxed in pace. We were greeted by the sound of welcome bells as we enjoyed warm, fragrant tea. Boarding a small wooden boat, we travelled across the water to the most beautiful home. “The project is the first boutique resort in the Yanjiachong,  Suizhou Mountains near Zengdu, offering a variety of intimate experiences with only 44 guest rooms, including 5 floating residences. Lakefront residences are all accessible by boat, leaving from the reception, offering a very unique arrival experience. Nestled around a local reservoir, the resort is a nature hideaway, with several amenities such as a hotel reception with guest check-in, a water sports activity centre, and an arts and crafts room. The all-day dining building features both indoor and outdoor dining areas, along with a spacious event and BBQ terrace.

The architecture and landscape design concept intends to create a humble and natural feeling all around, which is harmonious and consistent with the surroundings of the resort. Resort buildings are designed to respect the size and intimacy of the local architectural context, using natural materials and design strategies to seamlessly blend in with the local topography, thus making buildings become part of the landscape. The site sustainability strategy is intended to incorporate water conservation throughout the site, to maximally preserve the natural and native flora and fauna, as well as provide minimal impact of lighting, soil disturbance, among others.

The guest accommodations are arranged into clusters around the lakeside, including Waterfront Residences, Hillside Residences, and Village Residences. The luxurious villas are your retreat; they are large enough to accommodate the whole family while remaining intimate and cozy like your own home.  Appointed with every amenity, they are designed for hosting memorable family getaways where you can make memories with your loved ones.
