Colin has a deep interest in the exploration of cultural landscapes of the world, he is passionate about nature and travel, With an blended academic background in anthropology and architecture, he brings a unique lens to his work—one that draws from early human formations, architectural history, and the evolving relationship between people, nature, place, and built form. His work blends this broad cultural understanding with over 20 years of international design experience to deliver projects that are context-conscious, strategically driven, and crafted to improve lives, environments, and business outcomes.
Colin specializes in high-end, mixed-use urban developments that integrate architectural form with structural clarity, environmental performance, and landscape sensibility. His portfolio includes award-winning towers, five-star hotels, luxury resorts, headquarters offices, cultural institutions, and full city master plans. His design work consistently enhances productivity, brand value, user well-being, and long-term sustainability for clients around the world.
Known for his team leadership skills, Colin employs a highly collaborative approach at all design stages and excels at meeting clients’ needs and tight deadlines. His design, management, and communication skills are key assets that ensure successful outcomes for the firm’s valued clients, and his influence reaches beyond architecture, leaving a legacy defined by innovative design, sustainable practices, and unwavering dedication to excellence.
He has held senior leadership roles at renowned firms including Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and Goettsch Partners (GP), and played a central role in building AECOM’s Asia architecture practice. Known for fusing design vision with technical precision, Colin leads multidisciplinary teams through all stages of project development—from concept to delivery—while meeting complex performance and scheduling goals. While at SOM, he has also contributed to industrial design projects, including the New York Standard Streetlight for the City Lights Competition and a bespoke hardware line for Italian brand Valli & Valli SPA.
His early collaborations with internationally acclaimed conceptual artist Iñigo Manglano-Ovalle explored the intersections of modernism, nature, science, and politics through architectural installations, resulting in installations such as ’Portrait of a Young Reader” - permanent installation of a steel and colored glass relief sculpture based on DNA fingerprint for the New York Public Library, NYC, ‘Iceberg R11i01’ and Black Jack - colossal Carbon fiber and titanium sculpture —resembling the children’s toy, among several others.
Colin is a LEED Accredited Professional (USGBC), a Registered Architect in the U.S., and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His work has received numerous international awards and recognitions, and he continues to lead design efforts that align architectural innovation with strategic impact, leaving a legacy defined by craft, sustainability, and thoughtful leadership.
